Welcome to Hayne Oak Shropshire Sheep

Hayne Oak Farm is an agroecological farm in Devon. We produce pedigree shropshire sheep for sale across Europe to breeders and to place in agroforestry settings. We also produce high quality lamb for sale locally. The farm is run by Liz Bowles, who is also associate director of the Soil Association, the UK's leading food and farming charity.

Shropshire Sheep are renowned for their ability to graze fir tree plantations, orchards and vineyards without barking the trees, and our flock has some of the highest performance index sheep in the breed (Signet recording), with our stock sire Hayne Oak Nelson in the top 5% of Signet recorded rams.

In 2017, we received the Decade of Progress Flock Award, in recognition of being the most progressive flock of shropshire sheep based on genetic merit, and improvement over the last ten years (recognised by the AHDB Beef & Lamb).
